Weird Things happen on the Streets of Bingitong

With every painting I make I become more free.
And I'm a whole being so when I become more free in one area of my life I am more free in general 👍 Perfect!

I feel so good about my art.
I feel good making it, I feel good looking at it, I feel good sharing it.

I love how weird it is and that I don't really get it. It makes me laugh. It's fun.

When I paint I play. A painting is as good as I am in letting go. That's how my art works.

I'm so glad I let go of all expectations about how my art should be.

All is perfect the way it is.
Aah, how liberating!

It's funny to work on a painting and suddenly it's done. I know that feeling very well by now, the knowing that it's done when it's done.
I'm not even surprised anymore.
It's not done by any other standards than its own. It has its own rules. I get to learn them while I paint, it's different every time.

It's an exploration, an adventure that brings us closer and closer together (me and the painting) and by the end we're the best of friends 😊

I love making art.

This is the only "process picture" I took ... it looks almost exactly like the finished painting 😄

Have a joyful day!

Brilliant way to put it. It reminds me of the characters who I breathe life into but then they start calling the shots and I’m as surprised as any reader would be.

Yes, it’s really a co creation between the artist and the art. Endlessly fascinating to me 😊
