Hello hello! I'm back ^^ I took a break from drawing because I got flooded with so much work and the work still keeps piling up. Also, I was having a hard time figuring out how to adapt my drawing style on gopaint. I have a hard time blending like I normally do in human faces sooo I'm stuck on watercolour and ink brushes. I'd say it's a good start. and since there are only a few character on splinterlands that I've wanted to try making an ink drawing of. I also wanted to slash off a few items on my mythical creature things. So hitting 2 birds with one stone, yeah?

I've actually never drawn a griffin before? but since it was just a rough ink drawing, I went speed drawing because I really wanted to still practice with the software and I'm trying to get my eyes used to the tablet again. Soo there might be bad drawings next time or it might take me a while to follow up on my other drawings, OR I might go back to medibang sometimes because of how hard it is for me to get the hang and/or optimize the brush I need to use.
But this is just me rambling with the softwares I use. Gotta say though, I really enjoy Gopaint more than O ever did with medibang 🤣
Going with my progress fornthis one though. I only needed to use one brush despite the array of ink brushes available on the app 😅
to start off with my process. i did a rough sketch and then I eventually inked over the layer. i didn't need to erase much. I just kept the original appeal because i do like messy drawings sometimes
then i raised the opacity of the ink brush a little and made the point smaller to give it a few rough details. and basically it was just a cycle of increasing opacity and decreasing brush size for me as i neared my finish. What I find cool about this brush I used though is that it has that dry ink feel I love so much. Reminds me of old calligraphy scrolls.
Then that's about 20 minutes before I finished up. I only remember to take snaps whenever i had to blow my nose (it's cold lately)
Then I prepared a short timelapse. apparently the app records the time I work on the drawing too so 1 minute of work turns into 1 sec soooo I've worked on this for about 55 minutes, which is pretty speedy for me ☺️
That's all I can do for today. I still have sooo much work left for tomorrow, but let's see if i can draw some more, even in traditional art, I wouldn't mind
