Hello and good evening from my side of the world! It is the 2nd day of September. Still motivated to finish this Sketchtember art challenge but I'm somehow distracted by a game and a guy today. So so so.. the guy I've been talking to for the past year has invited me to start playing with him UwU
Just to note, he recently confessed and we've been a thing but no label yet. Anyways, because of this ridiculous distraction I have, I opted for something a little simple for today.
So for the skeleton prompt word, I chose to really just sketch since playing with my man really takes a lot of my free time XD
Materials used: black pen, white jelly pen
Duration: 2.5 hours
As you can see, it's not even a full skeleton, it's just a skull XD but I really like how this one came out despite this just being a quick sketch. It has a really peaceful vibe to it despite the style I used for sketching it.
Though at the start of it, I had a bit of a hard time deciding how the flow of the fabric would have draped on it.
And I also took a while with the sketch cuz I apparently forgot how to draw skulls plus I was thinking if I was gonna put a crack on the skull to make it more dramatic or if I'll add some sort of texture to it, but because I wanted to play again, I decided against it XD
In the end, I just referenced a smooth skull from google then I focused more on the highlights and the fabric cuz I've never been all too good with drawing fabric that would still look pretty natural.
So I'm pretty content with how this ended up as UwU
And because this child wants to play again, I'm cutting this short for tonight. I promise I'll make more of an effort tomorrow XD but for tonight, I just want game time so see you guys again tomorrow! a pleasant day! And thank you so much for stopping by!
