GOBSON SNIPER🍃 Splinterlands Art Contest SPT W-297

Quiero junto a ustedes compartir mi entrada de esta semana al concurso de @Splinterlands, así que estuve trabajando en esta representación de la carta de GOBSON SNIPER de la misma colección de #rebelion en la cual sigo, ya que me han encantado las cartas. Bueno, realmente vi esta especie de duende arquero con su piel verde y ojos rojos que me llamó la atención porque son tonos que combinan muy bien, así que quise representarlo en una versión femenina tomando en cuenta las características que posee el personaje original de la carta. Me enfoque mucho en la iluminación que es la que me ayuda a definir, así que usé muchas capas para esto. Por otra parte, al principio no había visto bien el cabello del personaje y lo estaba ya haciendo de color verde, porque me había enfocado en su piel y ojos, hasta que me di cuenta cuando llevaba avanzado el cabello, y entonces cambie su tono dándole una iluminación fucsia que me ha encantado. Espero disfruten esta representación que he realizado para esta carta y que les guste muchísimo como a mí.

I want to share with you my entry this week to the @Splinterlands contest, so I was working on this representation of the card GOBSON SNIPER from the same #rebellion collection in which I continue, since I loved the cards. Well, I really saw this kind of archer elf with his green skin and red eyes that caught my attention because they are tones that combine very well, so I wanted to represent him in a female version taking into account the characteristics that the original character on the card has. . I focus a lot on lighting which helps me define, so I used a lot of layers for this. On the other hand, at the beginning I had not seen the character's hair well and I was already making it green, because I had focused on his skin and eyes, until I realized when the hair was advanced, and then I changed its tone giving it a fuchsia lighting that I loved. I hope you enjoy this representation that I have made for this letter and that you like it as much as I do.

Etapas del Dibujo/Drawing Stages

Comencé trazando las líneas básicas para el retrato, realizándola en una pose de perfil que es excelente para resaltar los rasgos faciales. También me aseguré que las proporciones fueran adecuadas y que el rostro estuviera bien posicionado, agregando algunos elementos de su vestimenta. Luego, apliqué tonos base en capas normales, en los cuales para la piel utilicé tonos ligeramente saturados con un toque de naranja oscuro. Después, mezclé suavemente para lograr profundidad y relieve, utilizando varias capas para la iluminación.

I started by drawing the basic lines for the portrait, doing it in a profile pose which is excellent for highlighting facial features. I also made sure that the proportions were appropriate and that her face was well positioned, adding some elements of her clothing. Then I layered normal base shades, where for the skin I used slightly saturated shades with a hint of dark orange. I then blended gently to achieve depth and relief, using several layers for highlighting.

Agregué sombras en áreas delineadas para agregar profundidad, como fue debajo de los pómulos y alrededor de la nariz, en cuanto a la iluminación le aplique en las zonas más prominentes como la frente, el mentón y los pómulos, y para ello utilicé varias capas separadas para cada efecto. Trabajé en los ojos y la boca en capas con el método de mezcla normal, de la misma forma fui dibujando los ojos con un misterioso reflejo que los hace ver cristalinos, estos brillos lo fui usando en los ojos, también un poco en la la boca, un poco de sutileza en los labios y sombras en las comisuras.

I added shadows in outlined areas to add depth, such as under the cheekbones and around the nose. As for the lighting, I applied it in the most prominent areas such as the forehead, chin and cheekbones, and for this I used several separate layers. for each effect. I worked on the eyes and mouth in layers with the normal mixing method, in the same way I drew the eyes with a mysterious reflection that makes them look crystal clear, I used these glitters in the eyes, also a little in the mouth , a little subtlety on the lips and shadows at the corners.

El cabello fue un proceso minucioso y largo, es de las cosas que más me llevan tiempo, y para hacerlo usé un pincel abanico para tener trazos consistentes y luego fui a difuminar y luego añadí hebras con el pincel específico para cabello. Cambié el color a un naranja oscuro con toques de fucsia, lo que le dio un aspecto vibrante. En cuanto a la capucha me llevó tiempo también. Después, tracé los pliegues en varias capas para darle textura. Continué con las demás prendas y las flechas con la cesta. Me alegró mucho como todo estaba tomando forma.

The hair was a meticulous and long process, it is one of the things that takes me the most time, and to do it I used a fan brush to have consistent strokes and then I went to blend and then added strands with the specific brush for hair. I changed the color to a dark orange with hints of fuchsia, which gave it a vibrant look. As for the hood, it took me a while too. Then I traced the folds in several layers to give it texture. I continued with the other clothes and the arrows with the basket. I was very happy with how everything was taking shape.

Creé un fondo sencillo con tonos verdes y añadí un aura dorada alrededor del personaje. Unas capas de superposición y luz suave me ayudaron a saturar los colores. También, añadí brillos en los ojos y el rostro para darle ese toque mágico, para mi cada detalle contribuyó a la atmósfera fantástica de este personaje que les comparto.

I created a simple background with green tones and added a golden aura around the character. Some overlay layers and soft lighting helped me saturate the colors. Also, I added glitter to the eyes and face to give it that magical touch, for me every detail contributed to the fantastic atmosphere of this character that I share with you.
