Hey, beautiful souls of Alien Art Hive! 👽🎨

It's Ksena Morf here, and today I want to share something super exciting with you!

I’ve been working as a tattoo artist in Germany for a little over a year now, in a cozy tattoo studio in Goch (right near the Netherlands 🇩🇪🇳🇱). And recently, one of my amazing clients—who has now become a regular—came to me with a huge request… A FULL SLEEVE! 😱✨
Can you imagine? This is such a massive project! She already had an old tattoo on her arm— a neotraditional-style girl with a rose 🌹—and she wanted her entire sleeve in the same style.

And guess what? I LOVE neotraditional! 😍 Even better, she told me she completely trusts me and gave me total creative freedom (except for aggressive designs, since she’s a school teacher 📚).
So, an idea popped into my head instantly—I wanted the whole sleeve to be about love. Every symbol in this tattoo will represent love in one way or another. And to start, I chose a barn owl. 🦉💖 Did you know these owls choose a mate for life? How beautiful is that? Also, I just love them—they’re stunning and almost magical! ✨

The Creative Process 🎨🔮

Tattooing is a little different from regular drawing, so my process goes like this:
1️⃣ I gather tons of references and create an inspiration album—art, tattoos, ideas that match the theme. 📚💡

2️⃣ I make a super rough and scary sketch (seriously, it looks awful 🤣) just to figure out the placement and composition.

3️⃣ I create a clean, precise design with perfect lines—this will become the stencil for the skin. Everything unnecessary gets removed. ✂️

4️⃣ My client comes in for a project fitting to see how it looks on the body. 🧐
5️⃣ The big day arrives—time to bring the tattoo to life! 🎉

And so, we started with the owl. What comes next? You'll have to wait and see! 😉 But trust me, it’s already looking gorgeous!

The Tattoo Session ⏳💪

This session took six hours, and my wonderful client, Eva, was a total champ! 💯 She sat like a rock, stayed super patient, and in the end, she was beyond happy with the result. And honestly? So was I! 🖤
