MEDUSA

MEDUSA.

Zombie movies are not particularly a favorite. In fact I could pay you to turn it off. The continuous suspense and degrading state in which the human mind is regulated too sometimes make me shiver and to think that a virus could actually cause something infectious like that in reality doesn't necessarily call for a laugh. So to avoid having High Blood Pressure and constant yelling or screaming, I usually stay away. This character is one I came across weeks ago and though it spells the same fate, I still see it as harmless amd that's probably why I drew it.

The card

I started with the lineart which was a little different, just a little

Then I moved on towards marking out the face properly

After that I threw in a couple of snakes to make the drawing look more like Medusa

Without hesitation I threw in some ref and marked the dark parts of the character

Finally, my Medusa.

The materials I used while making this sketch are blue, black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER
