About two weeks ago I let myself be corrupted by someone very knowledgeable regarding artificial intelligence bots. The only thing I'm good at at the moment is admiring art, so you can imagine, AI art is not my cup of tea, but I thought I'd give it a try, let's see what the smartest artificial person knows. So I joined Ausbit's new stable diffusion discord bot, which is half a year old already by the way, but I think it's never too late to give it a try.
My primary goal with the bot was to ask it to create my dream house, which it did successfully, after a few attempts and adjustment. I'm not going to post those here as the result is only interesting to me, but after obtaining what I wanted, I thought let's see what the bot knows about Hive. I'm going to go in chronological order, so bear with me as things are going to get interesting.
First I wanted to see what the bot can give me if I ask for our Hive blockchain logo and this is what I got. Nothing like our logo, but that's ok.
Prompt: Hive Punk ID: 899 light skin
Then I thought let's see what the bot can give me, if I ask it to create my profile photo with light skin, which is a Hive Punk NFT I own. As a prompt, I gave the bot the Punk's ID and specified that I want it with light skin as the original has dark skin.
For those of you who don't know the project, this is the Punk I'm using as a profile photo. Do the two look alike? 😂
Prompt: Hive Blockchain Punk ID: 899 light skin
Then I thought it would be nice to be more specific, give the bot more details to know what I want and used the above prompt. This time I got a punk indeed, or a person who looks like a punk, but still far from what I wanted. What HIE GAE means, I have no idea, so don't ask.
When I saw I won't get anywhere with my prompts, I thought let's see if the bot knows what a red hair punk means, looks like and look what I got. The hair color and style is absolutely fantastic, even though it would never cross my mind to have it. Remember, this is not a real person, it is a bot generated image, but still, looks very real.
Then ausbitbank joined in the fun and asked the bot to create another red hair punk and this is what he got. Different from the first, but just as good as the one before I'd say.
Lucky me, ausbitbank was there, knew what I wanted to get, knew the bot better than I did, so after a few specific prompts, he got what I wanted, but I still wanted to see if I can get the bot to give me something similar, with different prompts.
Prompt: Charli Ramos Video Game Designer Rarity Score: 219 Hive Punk ID: 899
So I copied the exact name and details of my Punk (Charli Ramos Video Game Designer Rarity Score: 219 Hive Punk ID: 899) but what I got looked more like a manga character in my eyes.
Prompt: Hive plagiarist profile photo
My next prompt was a bit more funnier, so I asked the bot to create the Hive plagiarist profile photo 😂. This was a tricky one from the start as we have a bunch of plagiarists on the chain, so there's no way to create one profile photo, but my goal was to have some fun, so there was nothing to lose. To my surprise, I got a female, robotic type of profile photo. Can this be considered discrimination? 😂 Why does the bot think plagiarists are female? 😳
Prompt: Hive plagiarist profile photo
My next attempt was to be a bit more specific, so I let the bot know I want the Hive plagiarist profile photo. I got a more robotic image, but still of a female person.
Prompt: Hive blockchain moderator profile photo
I guess you're going to like this. I wanted to know what the bot thinks about what a Hive blockchain moderator profile photo looks like. Well, ladies and gentlemen, we have quite a bunch of moderators, I hope some of the readers are moderators. Do you recognize yourself? I'm a moderator too, but that's not me for sure. If you recognize yourself, let me know in a comment. Suit and tie? Come on bot! 😂
My next attempt was to see what a Hive blockchain whale looks like and I got this boring one. Nothing spectacular here.
Prompt: erikah hive blockchain user
My next attempt was to find out what the bot knows or thinks about how i look, so I gave the bot my Hive username and my status in a prompt. To my surprise, the bot could not even spell my name, let alone make a nice design. Total failure here. Hrick Hustle? Erirk? 😳
Prompt: Hive blockchain logo for HiveFest 2024 event with a welcoming message
After those disappointing results, I thought let's ask the bot to create a Hive blockchain logo for HiveFest 2024 event with a welcoming message. Well, wtf is that? 😳🤦♀ I understand that the bot did not know our logo, but at least could spell the name of the event right and write a welcoming message.
Prompt: erikah profile picture on Hive blockchain
Curiosity drove me to ask the bot to create my profile picture on Hive. According to the bot, I repeat, according to the bot, this is how I look 😂. It doesn't look like me at all, but I'm grateful to the bot as this blond woman looks like a nice lady. Good thing I did not get a six headed ugly monster. Could have been 100 times worse.
Prompt: smartest user profile photo on Hive blockchain
Prompt: portrait of the smartest blogger on Hive blockchain realistic
These generic prompts were fun because obviously the bot has no way to know who's the smartest on the Hive blockchain. No one knows, there's no data about it, so how would the bot know. Yet, it gave me a young male each time.
Prompt: portrait of the smartest female blogger on Hive blockchain realistic
It was obvious I needed to specify the bot that I needed a female profile this time as most likely I would have got another male profile at my second attempt. So ladies and gents, this is how the smartest lady Hiver looks like. If you recognize yourself, please let me know in a comment so I can give you a follow 😁.
In conclusion, it was a fun game. I did not do this in one day, it was done in a few days period. My free credit has decreased obviously, but still have half of it to play with the bot. Fair warning, it's addictive. It's like gambling, you always want to play one more, so you go down the rabbit hole pretty quickly. Although I'm not going to use it much, I'm not really into digital art and lack of time is stopping me, but I loved how it designed me the house I wanted. Most likely I only know 2% about what the bot is capable of, so most likely I'll be back from time to time to experiment if time permits.
Last, but not least, I'd like to say thank you to austbitbank for making it happen and giving us free credit to use the bot. I really appreciate it.
Please note, almost all the images are AI generated, except from the Punk screenshot, which is my own.
Now you can let me know which one is your favorite 😎
