Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, nuevamente les comparto el proceso de mi último dibujo el cual es un retrato de el actor Cillian Murphy en su papel de Neil en la película Watching the detectives, me encantó la película y desde hace un tiempo quise hacer un dibujo de el en ese personaje. Después de unos días en completa concentración con los dibujos de mi taller de dibujo quise hacer algo más libre y con mi estilo y eso implica volver a usar los colores. I hope you are feeling well today, again I share with you the process of my last drawing which is a portrait of the actor Cillian Murphy in his role as Neil in the movie Watching the detectives, I loved the movie and since some time ago I wanted to make a drawing of him in that character. After a few days in complete concentration with the drawings from my drawing workshop I wanted to do something more free and with my own style and that means using colors again. - Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB, un borrador, mis colores y un corrector líquido blanco.

Comencé haciendo el boceto del dibujo usando una imagen de referencia, al tener el boceto terminado use un borrador para quitar todo el grafito de la hoja y luego comencé a agregar los colores para pintar su piel. Fui construyendo el tono de su piel lentamente haciendo capas con diferentes tonos de naranja y beige para poder ir generando el tono principal, para los ojos fui usando azul, rojo y gris y blanco para pintar todo el ojo y para las irises use azul y azul oscuro. Continue mezclando rojo y rosado para el rubor de su rostro y también para construir el volumen de sus mejillas y nariz, usé esos mismos colores para pintar sus labios. Con azul y marrones fui construyendo las sombras en su rostro y usando azul oscuro y negro pinte las partes más oscuras como las líneas de sus labios, los pelitos de sus cejas y los orificios de la nariz. Sombree sus ojos y comencé a contruir el tono de su cabello mezclando azul oscuro y rojo, este es un truco que he usado últimamente para lugares en donde predomina el color negro y así evito usar demasiado color negro y le doy más saturación y tonalidades ya que el cabello no es totalmente negro a menos de que esté teñido, usando ambos colores fui construyendo los mechones asimismo también comencé a pintar el cassette de la película que tiene en la mano y para la mano use los mismos colores que usé para la piel.
I started making the sketch of the drawing using a reference image, when I had the sketch finished I used an eraser to remove all the graphite from the sheet and then I started adding the colors to paint his skin. I slowly built up the tone of his skin making layers with different shades of orange and beige to generate the main tone, for the eyes I used blue, red and gray and white to paint the whole eye and for the irises I used blue and dark blue. I continued mixing red and pink for the blush of her face and also to build the volume of his cheeks and nose, I used those same colors to paint his lips. With blue and brown I built up the shadows on his face and using dark blue and black I painted the darker parts like the lines of his lips, the hairs of his eyebrows and the nostrils. I shaded his eyes and started to build the tone of his hair mixing dark blue and red, this is a trick I have been using lately for places where black color is predominant and this way I avoid using too much black color and give more saturation and tonalities since the hair is not totally black unless it is dyed, using both colors I built the locks and I also started to paint the cassette of the film he has in his hand and for the hand I used the same colors I used for the skin.
Para hacer el tono oscuro de su cabello fui agregando marrones y negros para neutralizar los colores azul y rojo así fui poco a poco construyendo cada parte de su cabello, comencé a pintar su camisa usando grises, azules claros y blanco y con esta mezcla de colores hice el estampado de la camisa, detalles de los bordes y los pliegues de la tela. Termine de pintar la portada del cassette y agregué el nombre de la misma película, usando corrector liquido blanco agregué algunos brillos en las partes más iluminadas de su rostro, en la nariz, los labios y los ojos.
To make the dark tone of his hair I added browns and blacks to neutralize the blue and red colors so I gradually built each part of his hair, I started to paint his shirt using grays, light blues and white and with this mix of colors I made the print of the shirt, details of the edges and folds of the fabric. I finished painting the cover of the cassette and added the name of the movie itself, using white liquid concealer I added some glosses in the most illuminated parts of his face, on the nose, lips and eyes.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, termine de darle los últimos detalles a su ropa y a su rostro con colores y al terminarlo coloque mi firma en el dibujo. Volver a dibujar como estoy acostumbrada fue un alivio ya que no me coloco tanta presión sobre los detalles y lo que está bien y lo que está mal, aún así busco tratar de hacerlo lo mejor, pero no siento tanta presión como en las clases de dibujo y me encantó hacer esta ilustración ya que esa película me encantó, fue divertidísima y romántica y definitivamente Cillian Murphy se destacó en su papel en un género diferente al que estaba acostumbrado a hacer en el cine, espero muy pronto poder hacer otro de la misma película pero con el y la protagonista. ❤️✨
This is the result of the drawing, I finished giving the last details to his clothes and his face with colors and when I finished I put my signature on the drawing. Going back to drawing as I am used to was a relief since I don't put so much pressure on myself about the details and what is right and what is wrong, I still try to do my best, but I don't feel as much pressure as in the drawing classes and I loved doing this illustration since I loved that movie, it was hilarious and romantic and definitely Cillian Murphy stood out in his role in a different genre than I was used to do in the movies, I hope very soon to do another one of the same movie but with him and the main character. ❤️✨
