Hello my dear old and new Hive readers!
As always, I'm back with new content to devour.
In today's post, I have prepared 2 new drawings about which I will tell you a little more in few sec., enjoy reading :)
What is it about?
Today's drawings, due to the fact that they will be shown in this group, are mainly based on mushrooms. When it comes to the design itself, I had a few inspirations, but the drawings themselves do not represent a specific mushroom species.
The first source of inspiration for the mushroom cap itself was the species "Rhodotus" This mushroom is also known as Rhodotus palmatus , netted rhodotus , rosy veincap or wrinkled peach - ( all sources, and links to photos would be mentioned at the end of the post )
The fun fuct is that we actually don't know if this mushroom is edible, it has no special odor and the brave ones relate to it's taste as "bitter" or "sweet" so experts' opinions are divided.
Okay, enough with the trivia. Let's take a closer look at the drawing itself.
Presentation / Mushroom Emperor
because that's how I called him, is based on my latest color style which contains most likely colors from black to light grey, and sharp / neon-like orange.
I Know that you can tell guys, that this guy is more simmilar to chanterelle mushroom
but I guess that was the point to mix as many mushrooms as I can and create something eye-pleasing :)
Also, trust me - there is nothing better in the world than scrambled eggs with chanterelle...
Remember to serve yourself some chanterelle because they contain high amounts of vitamin D2, which helps the body absorb calcium, stay healthy :))
Before we move on to the next drawing I would also like to mention that Chanterelle mushrooms were taken in the 16th century as a symbol of wealth. <--- another useless fact, but I hope u enjoy
Presentation / Shroommurai
The next mix is quite visibly messed up, it's a cyclops which is a mushroom and a samurai with eyes all over his body...
I won't beat around the bush, I have no idea what inspired me to make such a strange combination, although I think it's very aesthetic
Genesis
The very genesis of the idea came from the fact that the mushroom hat reminded me of the Vietnamese Non La hat or the Japanese Kabuto (although the first one is more similar) and thus the explanation of the katana that our mushroom has on its back because it is another element of Asian culture.
Blood Moon
You can also see a blood moon in the back, it is perceived differently in many cultures, but let's start with what it is. A blood moon occurs during a total lunar eclipse (the next one will be March 13-14, 2025) and it's nothing special, just a trick of the light.
According to Mesopotamians and Incas, the blood moon symbolizes the death and the downfall of the king. However, a few Native American tribes think that a moon turns red when it is deprived of love and care. Therefore, a blood moon meant that the moon needs affection.
