Splinterlands Art Contest Week 277: Fungus Flinger 🍃 [ENG-ESP]

Greetings to all the nice people in this community, this is my third time participating in the @splinterlands Art Contest, I show you my entry. I chose this letter because I thought it would look nice (more than it is) to do it in my style. I wanted to submit this entry earlier, but I couldn't because I'm already full of college evaluations, so I dedicated my free time between lunch hours to this drawing. I hope you like the process and I hope you tell me if you like it and if I managed to make it more kawaii but without losing the essence of the character.

Saludos a toda la gente linda de esta comunidad, esta es mi tercera vez participando en el Concurso de Arte de @splinterlands, les muestro mi entrada. Esta carta la elegí porque pensé que se vería lindo (más de lo que es) hacerlo a mi estilo. Quise presentar esta entrada antes, pero no pude porque ya estoy full de evaluaciones de la universidad, le dedique mis tiempos libres entre las horas del almuerzo a este dibujo. Espero que les guste el proceso y ansío que me digan si les gustó y si logré hacerlo más kawaii pero sin perder la esencia del personaje.

"As charming as fungus flingers look, they are incredibly deadly if provoked. They are often found among the leaf litter and rotting vegetation in wetlands and forests, feeding upon the dead or decaying matter. They usually shy away from visitors, but if their colonies are threatened, they will attack, and the outcome tends to be most unpleasant.

These small creatures throw bits of fungus at any threat or danger and can be quite accurate. Their pasty projectiles explode on contact, blinding the target and grounding those that are airborne. Upon death, fungus flingers release spores that empower nearby allies". -Splinterlands.

🍃 PROCESS/PROCESO 🍃:

• I started by making the sketch in my notebook and then did it in the application. This time the first sketch I did with a pencil darker than my erasable colored pencils.

• Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi cuaderno y luego lo hice en la aplicación. Esta vez el primer boceto lo hice con un lápiz más oscuro que mis lápices de colores borrables.

• The coloring process. First I painted the eyes, the skin and the mushrooms. And finally the bombs that he has grabbed.

• El proceso del coloreado. Primero con los pinté los ojos, la piel y los hongos, las bombas que tiene agarradas. Y por último las joyas de que tiene en su cuerpo.

• I started to illuminate and shade the parts.

• Empecé a iluminar y a sombrear las partes.

• I had a hard time making the smoke because it's my first time doing that.

• Me costó mucho hacer el humo porque es mi primera vez que hago eso.

Fungus Flinger is a common earth element card, I loved making this cute character. And the power it has seemed very curious to me, that acting as a Martyr might make it a very useful card that can be used in important battles. I hope to own it someday. Fungus Flinger es una carta común de elemento tierra, me encantó realizar a este tierno personaje. Y el poder que tiene me pareció muy curioso, eso de actuar como Mártir quizás la haga ser una carta muy útil que puede usarse en importantes batallas. Espero algún día poseerla.
