Name
“Sakura” is the Japanese word for Cherry blossoms. Also, remind me of the anime character Haruno Sakura. She's got a pink hair as well. 😁
Character Inspiration
Since it is the season of love, the colors pink and red are often associated with love. When I think of cherry blossoms, I envision Springtime in Japan, hehe. As if it is the perfect time to confess to your crush while the sakura flowers fell to the ground. 😄
Never been to Japan, but maybe one day! Of course, I want to see a real cherry blossom tree. I might pick a fallen flower and take it home as a souvenir, lol. (If it is allowed).
🌸 Fun fact: Cherry Blossom is Japan's national flower. It blooms in a span of couple of weeks, thus one of the shortest-lived flowers. 🌸
