How do you pick your cards? Do you randomly pick your cards or it depends on the mood of the day? 😄 I am curious how artists here choose their cards for the week. Hehe. For me, it depends on the mood and how much time I have. The mood is when I am super hyped or super lazy. 🤣 If I am the latter on that day, I choose those easier clothing or small details. But when I am in the mood, I pick those detailed ones like those with powers or ethereal feels. I am feeling a bit of manhwa today, so I picked this card. ☺️

The first time I saw the card, it reminds me of ube and pandan (Filipino desserts or coloring) because of the color green and purple. 😆
Since this is a manhwa style, I search on Pinterest for manhwa references. By the way, I am reading Solo Leveling, hehe. But I stopped because of lack of time. The animation is scheduled for next year and I’m excited! 💗
I skipped some details like the golden belt and accessories. I just want simple clothing for this character.
I chose a dark mustard color for the background to complement the base colors of the character. Not much noticeable but the shade of purples on the arms and body are different. I almost forgot to put the button on the chain. 😆 For the cape, I chose the green color. The skin is pale for now but will add shades later.
For the eyes, I just did the one eye first and copy paste it. Exceptions are the pupils and irises as I will adjust so that they will not look awkward.
I added the swirling glowing clouds of mixed yellow and green. I just put another layer for the extra glow. I also added dots of glow. I blurred the background for 10%.
I picked darker colors of the bases and shaded them using a soft to medium-pressure of the airbrush.
Same to hair and skin, I used the same technique using the airbrush. The major add here is the chain. There are many brushes on the asset store to make the chain. There are brushes that will draw the chain so you do not have to. Instant chain~
This is the part where I add the green lights. I first used a g-pen to create random lines. Next, I used the blur brush and distort tool. Set the layer on Add Glow. To intensify the glow further, I duplicate the layer and merge them.
Final Art
For the final touches, I added more glow, especially on the face and clothing. More glows on the green lights by duplicating the layer. Aside from the green lights, I added small detail of particles blending on the glow.
Finished art! ⚡️🟢✨
