I started with the strange room in the background... not very successful. Architecture is for the patient. Then I added the figure reading - seems to be a motive I favour.

I use Krita. I only use open source software :)

I haven't heard of Krita before, but it looks like an intriguing software, so I'll definitely check it out. I'd also love to learn more about your pen. I don't have one at the moment, but it would be great to explore different types of pens. (Something low-budget but still advanced. Also, tell me about its size—what size is better for the tablet?)

I am using a very old Wacom digitizer and a pretty fast Linux PC with an Nvidia card.
