Hello everyone, I hope you're doing fine and your week is going well. Happy 6th anniversary to splinterlands, I dont play the game but doing the weekly fanart has been amazing and one of the most fun activities for me here. It's another week for the splinterlands contest and this is my submission.
I've aways wanted to do a fanart for this card because it's just cool. I really love his face mask and horn, one look at him and you just know he plays beautiful tunes.
I did the sketch and went straight to adding colours to her skin, hair, horns and little dress. I really looked forward to drawing the horn because it's unique and different from the others I've been doing.
I began the rendering phase with her skin, I tried a different painting technique which I'll share in another post. I added more shadows and strands to her hair and defined her braids. Then I started painting more details to her horn, dress, earring and facial features. Finally I drew the flute 🪈 behind here with the feathered thing.
This is the final painting and I hope you love it...
