A strange glowing meteorite crashed into the Swamps of the Living Moss, and it caused the buried heliostones in the mud to react magically. Suddenly, thousands of small flying creatures emerged from the swamps and scattered all over Splinterlands. This marked the beginning of the enchanted pixies. Interesting!

Un extraño meteorito brillante se estrelló en los Pantanos del Musgo Viviente, e hizo que las heliostonas enterradas en el barro reaccionaran mágicamente. De repente, miles de pequeñas criaturas voladoras emergieron de los pantanos y se dispersaron por todo Splinterlands. Esto marcó el comienzo de los duendecillos encantados. ¡Interesante!
It's another round of the splinterlands art contest and I painted the Enchanted pixie. I really love her leafy clothes, cute wings and the look in her face which shows she's a happy creature.
Es otra ronda del concurso de arte de Splinterlands y he pintado a la duendecilla Encantada. Me encanta su ropa de hojas, sus bonitas alas y la expresión de su cara, que demuestra que es una criatura feliz.
Process
Proceso
I started with a quick and simple sketch that usually serves as a guide and also makes the whole process easier. I didn't want to do a full body because I'm still practising anatomy, so I went for the head and shoulders. I defined the flat colours for the skin, hair and clothes. I thought it would be good to do the background before I went on, I wanted to be sure that what I had in mind would fit perfectly with the work and I'm glad it did. I went ahead to paint her facial features and kind of struggled with her eyes which was weird 🤔 I love drawing eyes so what's up? I'm glad I finally figured it out and it looked great.....
Empecé con un boceto rápido y sencillo que generalmente sirve de guía y también facilita todo el proceso. No quería hacer un cuerpo entero porque todavía estoy practicando anatomía, así que me decanté por la cabeza y los hombros. Definí los colores planos para la piel, el pelo y la ropa. Pensé que estaría bien hacer el fondo antes de continuar, quería estar segura de que lo que tenía en mente encajaría perfectamente con el trabajo y me alegro de que así fuera. Seguí adelante para pintar sus rasgos faciales y como que luché con sus ojos lo cual fue raro 🤔 Me encanta dibujar ojos así que ¿qué pasa? Me alegro de que finalmente lo resolví y se veía muy bien ...
With the background done, I started the detailing phase. I painted in skin shadows and highlights where necessary, I added more details and flowers to her clothes and the design on her neck and shoulders. I also painted her earrings, added more volume and strands to her hair. I drew bubbles and glitters because I love them, I drew her wings which didn't take long. Finally I finished by painted in some glow in different areas of the entire work. Overall, I enjoyed working on this, I faces the most challenge on her mouth because I barely draw an open tongue and teeth at a go. I hope you like it 💙
Con el fondo terminado, empecé la fase de detallado. Añadí más detalles y flores a su ropa y al diseño de su cuello y hombros. También pinté sus pendientes y añadí más volumen y mechones a su pelo. Dibujé burbujas y brillos porque me encantan, dibujé sus alas que no me llevaron mucho tiempo. Finalmente pinté algunos brillos en diferentes zonas de toda la obra. En general, disfruté trabajando en esto, me enfrento al mayor desafío en su boca porque apenas dibujo una lengua abierta y los dientes de una sola vez. Espero que os guste 💙
