Good afternoon my dearest community and all those who read me today, I welcome you once again to my art blog and I want to present a new work that I made trying to resume a little the theme of warriors (Valkias); which I used to draw a lot a few months ago and which I had quite forgotten. Today's work is a drawing whose main character is Normandila, a fierce and fervent Nordic warrior who was banished to the plane of the living because of her conflicts with the other Valkyrie warriors:

Buenas tardes mi queridísima comunidad y a todos los que me leen el día de hoy, les dio la bienvenida una vez mas a mi blog de arte y les quiero presentar una nueva obra que realice tratando de retomar un poco la temática de guerreras (Valkias); las cuales solía dibujar bastante hace algunos meses atrás y la cual tenia bastante olvidada. La de hoy se trata de un dibujo cuyo personaje principal se trata de Normandila, y fiera y ferviente guerrera Nórdica la cual fue desterrada al plano de los vivos por sus conflictos con las demás guerreras valkirias:

Retaking this theme was somewhat complicated for me because over time I have changed a little the structure of my character and the physical form, but basically the first idea was to create a female character which looked quite strong and imposing; but at the same time trying to maintain a fairly balanced feminine appearance. I took my good time, but finally I achieved a middle point for the line-art, and after that everything was easier and I only dedicated myself to look for suitable colors.

Retomar esta temática fue algo complicada para mi pues con el tiempo he cambiado un poco la estructura de mi personaje y la forma física, pero bueno básicamente la primera idea era la de crear un personaje femenino el cual se viera bastante fuerte e imponente; pero al mismo tiempo tratando de mantener una apariencia femenina bastante equilibrada. Me tome mi buen tiempo, pero finalmente logre un punto medio para el line-art, ya luego de eso todo fue más fácil y solo me dedique a buscar colores adecuados.

I am currently in a phase of using not so common colors as a base, especially for the skin, that's why this time I decided to use a fairly medium pink color and for the clothing some dark browns along with other warmer ones; the construction of the skin was done by creating primary strokes with an airbrush. After mixing the colors a little bit I decided to paint over them some more demarcated strokes with a flat brush, this to establish some depth and also some shadows of occlusion; the eyes in this case were of greenish tonality with light touches of white.

Actualmente estoy en una fase de utilizar como base colores no tan comunes, sobre todo para la piel, es por ello que en esta ocasión me decidí por un color rosa bastante medio y para la vestimenta algunos marrones un poco oscuros junto con otros más cálidos; la construcción de la piel la hice creando trazos primarios con aerógrafo. Luego de mezclar un poco los colores decidí pintar sobre ellos algunos trazos mas demarcados con un pincel plano, esto para establecer un poco de profundidad y también sombras de oclusión; los ojos en este caso fuero de tonalidad verdosa con ligeros toques de blanco.

The next section, which was clothing, was the one that took me the longest, since there were many sections, so I wanted to dedicate special care and detail to each one; The first thing was to establish the shape for the torso where I used many intense brown tones to closely resemble the leather texture. Then I went to the sections of the forearms where I used much darker browns to show a slight difference in textures, then I painted some kind of straps or braids which hold the leather of the suit together; Lastly, in this section I decided to use a lot of orange, red and white tones.

El siguiente apartado que era el de la vestimenta fue en el que mas me tarde, pues al ser muchas secciones quise dedicarle espacial cuidado y detalle a cada una; lo primero fue ir estableciendo la forma para el torso donde use muchos tonos marrones intensos para asemejar mucho la textura de cuero. Luego me pase a las secciones de los antebrazos donde use marrones mucho más oscuros para que se viera una ligera diferencia de texturas, luego pinte una especie de tiras o trenzas las cuales mantienen el cuero del traje bien unido; por último, en este apartado decidí usar muchos tonos naranjas, rojos y blanco.

I finished with the hair for which I dared to give a blonde look to the hair and I really liked how it looked for that point, after that with the character almost ready the next thing I had to create was the background of my drawing; for the background I decided to make a kind of scenery of mountains or rock formations which cover a kind of river or spring of purple color. Here I worked a lot with the layers and brushes to achieve a good realistic texture, then I worked on the purple spring where everything was a little easier because I already have some experience creating water; at the end I chose to create some clouds in the back part of the canvas, to try to make the drawing not look empty or boring.

Finalice con el cabello para el cual me anime a dar una apariencia rubia al pelo y me gusto mucho que se veía para ese punto, después de eso con el personaje casi listo lo siguiente que debía crear era el fondo de mi dibujo; para el fondo decidí hacer una especie de escenario de montañas o formaciones rocosas las cuales cubren una especie de rio o manantial de color purpura. Aquí trabaje bastante con las capas y los pinceles para lograr una buena textura realista, después trabaje en el manantial violeta donde fue un poco más fácil todo pues ya tengo algo de experiencia creando agua; al final opte por crear algunas nubes en la parte más atrás del lienzo, para tratar de que el dibujo no se viera vacío o aburrido.
