Hello Everyone
How are you?
I hope you're doing well and leading a sound life. I bring you another one of my artwork today. This one is also a digital drawing fan art of a monster of Splinterlands. I drew this one to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll add the link to the contest at the end. Check it out if you feel interested. I'll be sharing the process of my drawing in this post. About my tools and how I drew a fan art version of the original card that is quite different from the original.
The monster I drew today is named Kiara Lightbringer. I used my laptop, graphics tablet, stylus drawing touch pen, and a drawing software named ibis Paint. I'll attach both my drawing and the original image below and you can check it out. I'll also add the link to the contest at the end of my post. So, let's get started:-
My Drawing
Original Image
I began the process by drawing the basic structure of the drawing first. This one is really important to focus on. Because the whole outcome of the drawing depends on it. After drawing the main structure, I started to add the details. I started with her facial parts including her hair. Then I drew her breasts and the structural shape of her clothing. I also drew some lines to bring out the curves and make the shape complete.
Then I added the primary colors to her skin. I added another primary color layer on top of it using the spray paint tool. Then used the blending tool to make the curves and shades perfect. I also drew her eyebrows in this step.
Then I drew her facial details such as enhancing the color and detailing the shades. And then I drew her eyes and lips. Drawing her eyes is what took most of the time in this stage. But, I needed to add those details to bring out the beauty.
Then I drew her dress. I first added the primary color layer and then added the details with a normal brush for the hand part and a spray brush for the chest part. Then I started working on her hair part. I first drew the primary strokes with some color splash following the pencil structure I drew in the first place. Then I used a deeper color with a small paintbrush to make the lines bold and also to put in color variants. It'll help me to bring out the actual result I want in the next step.
And then after adding some more hair strokes, I was finally able to complete the drawing. Then I added the rainbow background according to her character theme.

And with some final details added, here's the final result:-
