¡Hola amigos! Para mi participación en el concurso de arte semanal de splinterlands he preparado un fan art de Mischievous Mermaid. Una linda y traviesa sirenita maga de los Melfork de Azmaré, quién a menudo nada alegremente por las aguas oscuras destruyendo con su magia los hogares de los inocentes crustáceos.
Hello friends! For my participation in the splinterlands weekly art contest I have prepared a fan art of Mischievous Mermaid. A cute and mischievous little mermaid wizard of the Melfork of Azmaré, who often swims merrily through the dark waters destroying with her magic the homes of innocent crustaceans.
Para este fan art quise hacer al personaje de cuerpo completo y de acuerdo a mi fascinación por las criaturas mitológicas me encantó la idea de hacer esta linda sirena, asi que no podia faltar la colita de pez. 😁😁
For this fan art I wanted to make the character full body and according to my fascination for mythological creatures I loved the idea of making this cute mermaid, so I couldn't miss the fish tail. 😁😁
Tomando de referencia la imagen de una sirena común, comencé a desarrollar el boceto y a transformar poco a poco a esa sirena en el personaje de la carta Mischievous Mermaid, agregando ciertos detalles en su atuendo que la caracterizan, obteniendo asi este resultado.
Taking as a reference the image of a common mermaid, I began to develop the sketch and to transform little by little that mermaid into the character of the Mischievous Mermaid card, adding certain details in her attire that characterize her, thus obtaining this result.
A partir de aqui inicié con el proceso de coloreado, usé basicamente los colores del personaje original, agregando una que otra variación de estos colores para dar sombras y luz. Pero lo primero fué agregar un color base, en este caso en la piel de la sirena, ya que me gusta trabajar el coloreado por partes.
From here I started with the coloring process, I used basically the colors of the original character, adding some variation of these colors to give shadows and light. But the first thing was to add a base color, in this case in the mermaid's skin, since I like to work the coloring by parts.
Sobre esta base de color comencé a hacer sombras y a dar luz en las partes que creí necesarias, lo cual le daria forma, volumen, dimensión a la ilustración.
On this color base I began to make shadows and give light in the parts I thought necessary, which would give shape, volume and dimension to the illustration.
Usando el mismo procedimiento anterior, el cual consistió en la aplicación de la base de color, sombras y luces continué con el coloreado del cabello.
Using the same procedure as before, which consisted of applying the base color, shadows and highlights, I continued with the hair coloring.
Además de colorear los accesorios y la ropa, dejando de último el coloreado de la cola y el tridente.
In addition to coloring the accessories and clothing, leaving the coloring of the tail and the trident as a last step.
Hice un fondo azul con algo de luces y este fué el resultado final ¡Espero que les guste!
