First of all, I want to apologize for my long absence here, I had quite difficult times, and I had to solve a lot of difficulties that I encountered, I really missed creativity and finally I had the opportunity to do it again and therefore today I am here, although being in a slightly apathetic state, I find the strength to overcome this and give you a signal that I am still here and ready to continue my journey to the Hive with you!

Today I want to present to your attention my version of the song Jay-Z - Dead Presidents 2. This is an experimental version in my performance, I made it in a symbiosis of different genres such as Hip-Hop and Drum and Bass. Why this particular track? I was touched by the soul of the piano, or rather its chords, now this sound is closer to me than ever, the circumstances that have happened to me in the last month and a half are pushing me into the arms of these sad chords of an old piano worn out by time. So everything is in place, and let's go!

I took these chords from the original version of Jay-Z composition, I already knew how it would sound and how to implement it, I chose the juiciest piano I have, I had to deliberately detun the sound so that it sounded like an old school piano in an abandoned basement. I did not miss the opportunity to work on the harmony of the bass with the main chords, I made this bass according to my old tried and tested patterns (this is the bass I use in many of my tracks). At first I just made an instrumental track, but in my own way. If you open and listen to the original of this track, you will feel a significant difference, because in my version the rhythm is a little off, and it seems to me that the drama of the composition has increased. Soon after I made the instrumental, I decided to surf the Internet and look for the track's acappella, and I found it. In my version, she starts playing not from the very beginning, but from the second verse (or third), but still she went with a bang, I liked working with it, even though her tempo is 175, and the tempo of my project is 87, where did 1 go bpm? I don’t know myself, well, more precisely, I know, but such mathematics does not fit in my head, they didn’t teach me this at school. In the end, what I want to say is that the very manner of reading rap in this track is a little different from classic rap, since there are also rhyme rolls here that kind of add the tempo of the composition, and the interweaving of words that don’t seem to fall into the beat the first time, but it’s worth listening one more time and all doubts disappear, this is such a manner of singing rap, three-dimensional rhymes or something like that. Also I added vocals between the Hip-Hop part and the Drum and Bass part, for what? For a richer emotion, no more creative maneuver. In general, I liked this experiment, and I was pleased that I did not lose some of my skills until I had the opportunity to study music, as before I did everything with my soul, for the sake of a buzz, for the sake of satisfying my desires.
