Hello Dear Hivers, Hello Aliens!
👽

Today I finished work on my new track - Crossroads. The work turned out to be danceable, dynamic, and what is most curious with the violin, which I rarely use in my work, let's go!

About Track:

The other day in the studio I made some changes in terms of the placement of objects, huh, so to speak, to change the environment a bit. And of course, in the new format of my studio, I decided to sit on a new musical project. For some reason, funk music or something was spinning in my head, with a broken rhythm and dance mood. Well, grain by grain, I started working on this project, making up a suitable rhythmic pattern for my new composition. The beat turned out to be quite old school in sound, such as for breakdance or something. I decided that it would be great to add an interesting melody, my choice fell on the violin, and on the motive for it in the genre of street music, something like a light instrumental breaks, with an exciting cinematic melody. In fact, I would attribute this to experimental music rather than to any particular musical genre, since I selected everything by ear without relying on any musical traditions of genres, I simply did what was pleasant to the ear. The bass in this track is smooth as always, although at first I did roll bass, but in the course of creating the track I decided to abandon this idea and make it soft and long, so that the composition would be more atmospheric.

In my posts here, in my opinion, I told you how to make such a bass, this is done in the Serum synthesizer, and such a bass is great for compositions with a broken rhythm, but it also sounds pretty good in tracks with a straight kick, you can run it with a second layer of bass for creating a tighter bass line. For me, in music, or rather, more in writing it, bass always comes first, it depends on how your music will be perceived by the listener, so I pay special attention to this. I also decided to add an ethnic guitar to the tech in a semi-muted form, so that it would not stand out too much against the general background but also not get lost in the composition, it was made rather to maintain the rhythm and make it even richer. I also worked on some transitions in the track, made a kind of overflow from the vocal effects in order to smooth out the transitions from one to another part of my composition in some places. After all of the above, I proceeded to the mastering stage, processed all the instruments, equalized the volume balance and everything like that, I will not go into details of post-processing, as it will take a lot of time and a person who does not deal with creating music will not understand much, years of practice and theories brought me, along with experience, even more questions in which I gradually, methodically understand almost every day.

Hugs! 🙃

In general, it turned out to be such a rather perky track, quite danceable as I noted earlier and with a good mood that I want to convey to you. I wish you a good weekend, may a good mood be with you and I am sure that you will have a good time to prepare for another productive week. Thank you in advance for your feedback, see you soon friends!

This one is super dynamic! Excellent work!

Thanks bro, have a great weekend and good mood to you!

I like this! There's a mysterious sort of feel to it, but in a light way, not ominous. The violin is a nice choice.

Thank you for visiting here, I'm glad you liked it!
