Helo Dear Hivers, Hello Aliens!

Today I want to share with you my new piece of music - The Phoenix. I finished working on it today and I'm ready to present you this Cyberpunk composition with elements of experimental music. Let's go. ☣️

About Track:

The other day I thought that I had not done something so robotic, cyberpunk for a long time and decided to go through this experimental genre too much. Rarely do I make such broken beats and rhythms, it was inspired by the old works of Amon Tobin, then I didn’t even know his name, I had a simple CD with his music, we really couldn’t even determine the genre and called it in a simple way - Hospital music, well, like a psychiatric clinic, something like that. It was only later that I found out that this is a mixture of IDM, downtempo and electronic music, it stole my attention to it back in 2004. This is a very complex music in terms of structure, making it is painstaking work, grain by grain, collecting an outlined musical composition from this is an exciting business and requires perseverance. My new track consists of many different parts such as Glitches, Grinders, Percussions, Synth Instruments, Effects and Transitions. Especially for this composition, I chose the most non-standard drums in my opinion, this is a mixture of African percussions with orchestral instruments and more modern drums a la Big Beat style. The main idea was to make it voluminous in sound and enveloping. My earlier works in this genre were a little different from this one, there were also these smeared bass lines but there was no clearly defined rhythmic pattern, in this track it is clearly drawn, and together with the orchestral ones it creates a special brutal outline. And as always I did not do without Eastern strings in this composition, again I used Turkish strings which I raised by two octaves to make the sound even more intense. In general, the working title of this composition is Malaika. When I did this work, I imagined the city of the future, or rather, iron phoenixes that wander around the neon city.

In general, the Cyberpunk IDM is quite an attractive style of music, most likely due to the mystical, rich sound, as I said earlier, it’s like looking at a conveyor that produces something around the clock, where smoke comes from the chimneys of factories, the cycle repeats again and again. When you work with such music, the pictures in your head are drawn by themselves, all this viscosity of the sound is the signature feature.

I will include this work in my music portfolio for video games, I already have several musical compositions in this genre in my piggy bank, I think that when I collect enough of them I will send them to some game company, it may be necessary for computer game developers, I at least I hope so.

Hugs! 🙃

Well, on this mystical note, let's say goodbye, but as always, not for long, since I will soon start working on a new musical composition, which I will definitely share with you, hugged everyone, see you again, my friends.
