The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley
a webcomic, by Matt S. Law
The toughest opponents in comics are the ones whose powers don't make any sense. Like the Scarlet Witch. Sure, in the Marvel movies she moves stuff with her mind and does weird stuff to other poeople's minds... but in the comics, her power is actually reality manipulation. Which doesn't always have predictable effects, like when she accidentally eradicated all the mutants on Earth. Big "oops."
Uploading this panel from the Oceanside public library where I am using their 3D printer to make some little plastic trains for Mexican train. It took about 40 minutes just to make the first one start printing but I finally got my little red train engine. Working on a pair of blue engines right now. It will be a struggle to finish in my two hour time slot, but nobody has the printer reserved after me, so I think I'll be alright. Plus I need to finish today. I just now figured out that I can only make one reservation a week. I'll be gone from Oceanside by the time I can reserve another spot.
But 3D printing is really cool. Anyone out there know how to model 3d stuff and can make me a Kickman action figure? Well, not a full-sized articulated action figure, just like a 1.25-inch tall Heroclix-scale Kickman. Oh, and a Grayhawk. Maybe a Java Jaguar...
