So today am introducing you guys to my first artpiece on foundation titled DEEP THOUGHTS ...
Our mind is like the ocean , when we dive deep it becomes calm , quiet and still.

So today am going to show you the progress shots of the work ... Starting with the sketch , to grayscale then colour ,shading and effects...
Today is totally a different art style from what I do initially .... So am going to upload the progress shots and explain a bit ...
Starting with the sketch I used a reference for this piece from Pinterest...
After the reference I started building up the body shade and light since the style am using here was the grayscale technique where I paint in black and white and add a colour overlay to the layers to give it colour easily. Painting in black and white to me make the work less stressful and faster .... Down below you can see how I laid the brush stroke by stroke ...
Colour.
Color is one of the major challenge for digital artist. Picking the right tone or shade of colour will determine alot about your artwork... You artwork might look beautiful but the colour balance night be off. So here I worked with the range of oranges to red...
Once the colour is be decided , I started adding some other features to the drawing to give it more depth and details and make the art come alive ...
The steps are down below how I added the KOI fish and also the tatoo.
So after the whole colouring shading and lighting, then I added more details to the art to make it more attractive and outstanding I gave the hairs highlights the fishes glows and the reflection of the earrings and the fishes on the body of my character to make the eqn balanced...
