Hello, it's Friday! I've been looking forward to this weekend for certain good reasons, I'm building something and it's been slow but steady progress.
I had a lot of cat content this week posting about my digicats vol 1 because there is definitely another coming in the future. But today's post is a peculiar content because it had a little back story.
.
I was minding my own business when I thought of the Nickelodeon cartoon show, Hey Arnold! I saw it last when it aired back in the 2000s. That's like 25 years now! (I am a dinosaur). So I wondered what ever became of Helga's crush on Arnold. Press press the phone and I discovered there were two movies. I decided I wanted to watch them. I watched the first one and was hit by so much nostalgia I said "you know what I'm going to watch the entire show". 100 episodes and two movies later, I was satisfied.
Anyway, that happened last year, I think it was September, but when I was finishing up my Digicats set, I remembered the episode when one of the tenants living with Arnold's grandparents wanted to learn how so read so he asked Arnold for help. There were a lot of defaults on his part but there was this one scene where he finds himself among kindergarten children and he tries to read one of their books, which happens to be titled "Pet the Kitty". What lines do you think he read out? "Kitty kitty kitty...."
Yeah, so that was that for my self amusement.
My posting schedule is on vacation but posting today means I'll be off on Saturday. No, I have not redrawn the piece I destroyed, I've been busy doing other things which I will hopefully report next week.
Toodeloo folks! Have a great weekend!
