Hoy quiero mostrar un dibujo muy especial, que solo pertenece a mi el coloreado, pues el dibujo fue hecho por mi novio quien me propuso colorearlo como un ejercicio, el es un artista muy talentoso y yo estaba algo insegura de intervenir un dibujo suyo, pero finalmente me decidí a darle algo de color, les mostraré un poco del proceso de coloreado espero me acompañen.

Today I want to show a very special drawing, that only belongs to me the coloring, because the drawing was made by my boyfriend who proposed me to color it as an exercise, he is a very talented artist and I was a little insecure to intervene a drawing of his, but finally I decided to give him some color, I will show you a little of the coloring process I hope you join me.
Este fue el dibujo que me envió, me dio total libertad de pintarlo a mi manera e incluso modificarlo, pero decidí colorear tal cual, según lo que me explicó se trata de una ninfa y una deidad del bosque, quien acaricia suavemente su mejilla.
This was the drawing he sent me, he gave me total freedom to paint it my way and even modify it, but I decided to color it as is, according to what he explained it is about a nymph and a deity of the forest, who gently caresses her cheek.
Al ver este dibujo no pude evitar pensar en el cuadro de la ninfa y la deidad, no pude evitar asociarlo con el mito de Apolo y Dafne, mito en el que Cupido dispara una flecha al dios para hacerlo enamorarse de una ninfa y esta al huir de él, se convierte en un árbol de Laurel, las líneas del dibujo me hacen pensar que esta ninfa también está en medio de una metamorfosis en algún tipo de criatura emplumada, con cuernos... es un misterio que solo sabe mi amor.
When I saw this drawing I could not help but think of the painting of the nymph and the deity, I could not help but associate it with the myth of Apollo and Daphne, myth in which Cupid shoots an arrow at the god to make him fall in love with a nymph and this when fleeing from him, becomes a Laurel tree, the lines of the drawing make me think that this nymph is also in the middle of a metamorphosis in some kind of feathered creature, with horns ... it is a mystery that only my love knows.
El color de piel de la ninfa lo hice de un tono moreno, que es el que mejor se me da, me gusto mucho colorear la piel y darle un brillo tan lozano, y aunque colorear y dar textura a la piel es algo en lo que trabajo, me gusto mucho este ejercicio.
I made the skin color of the nymph in a tan tone, which is what I am best at, I really liked coloring the skin and giving it such a lush glow, and although coloring and texturing the skin is something I work on, I really liked this exercise.
Luego procedí a colorear las plumas que se desplegan desde sus hombros, pensé mucho y tome como referencia los vivos colores de los colibríes, así que elegí algunos tonos de azul, verdes y color coral.
Then I proceeded to color the feathers that unfold from their shoulders, I thought a lot and took as a reference the vivid colors of hummingbirds, so I chose some shades of blue, green and coral.

Sii... olvide tomar gran parte del proceso para llegar hasta este punto, me abstrae tanto en el coloreado que olvidé completamente tomar alguna captura en adelante... pero eso habla de cuanto disfrute el coloreado de este dibujo, espero que haya sido de su agrado muchas gracias por leer

Yeah... I forgot to take a big part of the process to get to this point, I got so abstracted in the coloring that I completely forgot to take any captures from now on... but that speaks for how much I enjoyed coloring this drawing, I hope you liked it, thank you very much for reading.
