Good morning, this is my contribution to #wednesdaywalk for me it wasn't a very long walk due to the cold temperture i had to stay in my garden.
All insects are left untouched , no photostacking and no tripod .
the photos with the Laowa ulltra macro lens are done on 2.5 magnification no crop .
It seems i wasn't the only one walking in my garden this morning, this lady bug was walking on the remains of a tulip
then it stopped to see if i was a threat or not, in the background you still see the dried petals of the tulips .
but it didn't seemed really bothered by the camera and lights.
on last shot of the ladybug before it flew away
small black ant on a pink geranium flower was also doing a wednesdaywalk it seems.
the Oedemera nobilis / false oil beetle / fraaie schijnboktor was on the other hand still trying to wake up while sitting on the petal of a purple geranium flower.
and just when you think you can't get any closer
and then on top of the leafs of my choclate mint i spotted this Pyrausta aurata / Mint moth / Muntvlindertje
i didn't have the tools to measure it but according to wiki :
" Pyrausta aurata has a wingspan of 18–20 millimetres (0.71–0.79 in) "
well that is it for today hope you enjoyed the wildlife tour of my garden today.
