The freedom

Frank was appointed as the treasurer to the association’s treasury. He has been warned by his mum at home on several occasions to remain trustworthy and honest with whatever he does. His mum would always repeat in his hearings that “no matter how long the lies prevail, the truth would be uncovered someday somehow”.

Frank has been living his life based on the morals his mum had taught him and when he was able to get to the position of treasurer. He made sure he practiced all of his mum's advice and cautions.

He would have his audit well stated and calculated. He was so friendly dealing with others and not doing anything to tarnish his image. This is about money, and money itself knows no one.

It was about time for Frank to hand over the document to the next appointed treasurer then it was time for him to give reports. He read everything loud and clear. Yet people still have to question him about it.

He politely answered them all, but they insisted he gave them the proof of transactions so they can truly know he did them. One of the biggest mistakes Frank made was not to receive and keep records of payment receipt.

Frank had no evidence to prove his innocence, people ganged up on him and immediately started to distrust and give him names. He was there for some while feeling ashamed. But deep down he knew how honest and free minded he was. Someone walked to his face and gave him a close call to his ears and said “you dishonest treasurer!!, i knew one day this would happen” Frank bursted into tears.

He learned another moral of life that day. He learned that no matter what you do, how much you do, you can never satisfy humans. You can only do your best, but don’t force yourself on the rest.
