Jane left the loaf of bread on the table and hurriedly prepared for her kids for school and then took them to the bus stop where their school bus will pick them up. She came back and was already late for work. She could not take her own tea and bread. She left for work.

By mid-day the kids were back and like every other kids, they became hungry. The most elderly prepared their lunch and handed out to all.

But Jude, the last of them all was too inquisitive and needed to know what was on the table. He drew closer and saw it was the delicious bread they took in the morning. He likes bread too.

When he felt that all had left the dining, he took a few slices and some crumbs of the bread dropped on the table and the floor. He quickly wiped the table, in a bid to bury the evidence. He did not avert his mind to the ones on the floor!

Jane came back very late at night. She felt hungry and then remembered her breakfast. The bread should be there anyway. She went over and was very much surprised at what she saw. The size of the bread had reduced. But everything was still the same way she had left them in the morning. She observed the table and no traces of tampering.

Then the bunch of keys she was holding fell off her hand and unto the floor. She bent down to pick it up. She saw the lead...some crumbs of bread. It was then that she finally made up her mind that one of the kids had tampered with her breakfast.
