The turn of events took everyone by surprise. Announcement were regularly made via the print, audio and social media warning people of the consequences of violating the new legal order. People were required to stay put in their various homes. Even if you are dying and needs medical attention you are required to remain where you you are.
A once happy world was turned into a chaotic and uncertain world. People were dying in droves over the strange pandemic. No drugs to cure the strange diseases. Reliance on orthodox medicine was not even the best option.
But in the midst of this strange turn of events, some people were reaping bountifully in that state of the world. Content creators found and grew their niche through the social media. They were recking in revenues of a regular basis. That was a pure case of one man's meat is another man's poison.
A new concept also became popular which is working from home. And that was done effectively with the Internet. Service providers also recked in huge revenues. Another case of one man's meat is another man's poison.
The restriction on movement also helped to mend some broken homes and relationships. You have no option but to remain at home with that person for days, weeks and even months. By compulsion, fences were mended.
With the passage of time solution came and life gradually returned to normalcy.
But in all, nobody prays for that state of the world ever again.
