Juliana a teenager joined his friends to attend the annual youth camp in different province from hers. She has never had such an experience before as she is the only daughter of her parents who rarely allow her to mingle freely with her peers, let alone hanging out away from home for a whole week. That's unheard of.
But this holiday season, she decided to try something new, to be part of the youth contingent who will be camping out for a fortnight.
As early as six in the evening, Juliana had packed her little travelling bag and a few other things and ready to team up with her peers. She feels so excited about the camping. Her mum was handy to lecture her on a few things. Julianna cared less, she just want to have this first time feeling of being away from home and with her peers.
On arrival at the venue, they were ushered into the camp and asked to make their tents. Juliana managed to set up hers. It wasn't perfect. Her close friend came to her rescue and made her tent look surdid.
Next was to light up the burn fire. She hasn't done that before. She is not even used to such manual jobs. In the morning, they had to be woken up as early as 4am for prayers. She is also not used to such early rising. Every programme of events look like a new challenge to her. Initially she was enjoying the ride but as time goes on it became tasking for her.
With each passing day she keeps praying for the event to run through and come to an end. Her close friend kept cheering her up. But he knows that Juliana is not enjoying the whole show as one does not learn to be left-handed at old age.
