A swarm of locusts came to our land
Consumed all of us in an instant
Ate our crops, our fruits, our trees
What was left was only you and me
And in fear we cower ourselves
Right to our own houses
It was not a home but a prison cell
Quarantined, a life like living hell
Months have passed and we have found a way
A way to prevent the locusts
A way to prevent them from devouring us
To the frontline warriors, we salute.
And now we can do it inside our homes
Test ourselves if the locusts have infected us
If they have eaten our crops and our fruits
Now we can determine how to drive them away
At the comfort of our home, we can now know
How to prevent a certain plague from spreading
If only we retain that fear so that we wont grow cold
Leaving with no care and worst: no consideration to other people
What they can do inside their medics
We can do it on our own
Inside our little houses
Our houses, our homes.
