A lot of times I had this feeling that my life is wrecked, too many things going wrong and I'm not sure what to start fixing to fix my life; a lot of bad habits that I need to quit and a lot of good habits that I need to acquire.
What I had learned is; if you want to fix your life: The first step is always to fix your sleep schedule.
The number of hours you sleep isn't the only factor for your focus and well-being, but rather when do you sleep and wake up. For example: sleeping 8 hours at 3 am is different than sleeping 8 hours at 9 pm. I'm sure you've tried this for yourself before.
Also, when you wake up early, it feels like the day is much longer and you can achieve much before you feel tired, I personally feel very motivated to accomplish things when I wake up early.
To me, I feel the worst when I wake up in the middle of the day, and those days are the least productive, every single time.
A lot of books were written on this topic like for example "The 5 AM Club" by Robin Sharma, and many others, but you don't need to read books on it, you just need to try it out for yourself and see how life-changing it is.
