Well @coquicoin, I thought about your invitation to post my very first effort at a 50 word story for the zapfic free writing community. And thought nothing ventured nothing gained and as I am not one to turn down a little challenge. Here is my very first 50 word effort but firstly my ........

I find it fun to write these short stories.
If you want to compete in the Freewriters community zapfics, there are two. One on Monday ZapficMonday, to write during the week, is for writing stories in 240 characters and the Friday Zapfic is the 50-word Zapfic. ;)
