"Keep depending on malpractice Uche, one of these days, you will get your wage in the exam hall. Lazy boy!"
Uche was notorious for his incipient laziness and dull head. After school, he rarely visits his books neither does he tackle his home work. All he does after schools was to scuttle off into the bush hunting rats and lizards. When it gets to examinations, he depended on malpractice to pass.
His mother has been so bent on correcting him with threats, flogging and even denying him meals but he never retraced his steps.
"You have 40 minutes to finish up and submit!" The invigilator shouted from behind the class. "So, you better start cross checking your works!"
Uche has been whistling lightly to Ahmed for the past one hour. He needed Ahmed to pass him his already filled booklet so he could copy. The teacher got wind of the plan and quietly walked over to Ahmed, ask him to submit but gave him a new sheet to pass over steathily to Uche. On receiving the booklet, Uche smiled broadly and settled to work. One opening the first page, he saw it was blank. He turned to the next and found it was blank too. He scrolled through all of the pages and found all to be blank. He raised his head to look at Ahmed but instead his eyes met that of the the teacher, smiling.
