A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words (Or, Exactly Fifty): Yes, There Is an Emergency Here -- You're Just Too Old To See It

What I see: A fire-breathing performer -- I know how that is done, so I don't see a problem.

What I feel: One of my favorite characters I write in Freewriters is eight years old, and wouldn't understand ... and she loves to help people, so ...

Eight-year-old Gracie Trent knew an emergency when she saw one. Her parents nearly died between laughter and embarrassment!

“Sir, I need you to quit your hot sauce addiction and sit here until I get back with a bucket of ice cream, a bucket of breath mints, and the fire department.”

Let's go for the laughter h oww sweet she is. Even peppermint! One should change his profession because of this kid.

I laughed so hard writing this ... I'm glad it translates!

🤣🤣🤣 I needed to read it for the second time to understand! Witty Gracie!!!

Glad you found it worth the second effort -- and thank you!

😂😂😂

Thank you for reading!

Heh, heh, heh, I summarise it as “halitosis”.

This is a fair assessment!

Hilarious I must say, she thinks it's an emergency!!! 😁

Exactly!

LOL.

Thank you for reading!

😂
You made me remember 'The thundermans' on Nickelodeon. When Phoebe ate the hottest pepper or hot sauce and her fire breath became too big. 😂

I have not seen that, but it is a theme that comes up in cartoons quite commonly (which is how Gracie would know it).
