A little here, a little there
Every tiny, insignificant effort Nora made was building something big.
She didn't know it herself. Consistency was her grace, she won't stop.
Nora always admired and loved art work for as long as she grew up to become aware of herself.
Uncle Basil's art workshop triggered this part of her.From cradle, she would crawl to Uncle Basils art shop and watch him move his talented hands swiftly on the drawing board. As she grew she began imitating him using cardboards and crayons. She didn't give much thought to it, she was just having fun. Fun grew to hobbie and from hobbie to talent.
She made a habit of drawing everyday when she returns from school. Drawing became her therapy when she faced low times. Nora was drawing”, and drawing was Nora! They are inseparable.
Nora grew to high school. One day after school, she stormed home pissed by a hot argument with her seat mate in school. She wasn't the type to talk much so she just went to her room, set up her easel and began drawing to calm and take her mind off the stress. She drew nature, a beautiful sunset. It radiated peace and cool if evening. Indeed it was beautiful.
Days later she took it to Uncle Basil's art workshop and he reacted in a way she never expected. He praised her saying that was the most beautiful masterpiece he has ever come across his entire life. He quickly called a renowned art gallery to sell Nora's work and it was bought for a price Nora and her family had never seen.
Nora's unexpected turning point. She became a supplier to many companies and even became a coach at her young age.
Opportunity meets the prepared!
She followed her passion, drove it till it paved way for her to limelight.
That little insignificant skill you think don't matter, it does!
May not be as Nora's story but will definitely pay off.
