MEMORY OF DREAMS | @mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2645: a familiar feeling | [EN/ES]

The cat followed the dreamer during his waking hours, when he was like an automaton, leaving the house, rushing off to work, eating unwillingly, spending hours locked in the same cubicle for no apparent reason, only to return home tired.

So there was little hope that he would find the door, or at least that that familiar feeling would remind him that it was waiting for him and that it was open, something the cat always took advantage of to sneak in from the world of dreams and snoop on what little the dreamer seemed to need when he was awake.

El gato seguía al soñador durante sus horas de vigilia, cuando era como un autómata, salía de casa, se iba corriendo al trabajo, comía sin ganas, se pasaba horas encerrado en el mismo cubículo sin motivo aparente, sólo para volver cansado a casa.

Así que había pocas esperanzas de que encontrara la puerta, o al menos de que esa sensación familiar le recordara que le estaba esperando y que estaba abierta, algo que el gato siempre aprovechaba para colarse desde el mundo de los sueños y husmear en lo poco que el soñador parecía necesitar cuando estaba despierto.
