It's another Wednesday for Edison to visit the streets where he entertains neighbours with his violin in exchange for some cash which he's saving to crack up his first music album. Can't believe he's wearing these white sneakers today again.
He has been playing on this street for months now every Wednesday and the neighbourhood has come to enjoy his skills although they never appreciated him from the beginning.
His convertible bike is parked behind him as usual although he had misplaced his other helmet. If you ask him, he'll say he's doing this for the fun and to him, less is more so he trusts the process and understands the cacophonies of listening to the life that wants to live through us rather than the one we urge to live.
He look at success like trees, I mean you can't grow a forest overnight. The beginning is sometimes blurry like a wet glass, the end is even more empty because you've got it all yet the process brings the magic. That uncertain hope of getting there which sends adrenaline for hard work, those feelings of what if I fail which instills passion to ride on and moments of criticism that unravels a vision. So you see? the process is more fun than one thinks only if you examine yourself.
If you find yourself in the process then this one is for you, " Things can never be perfect until you go out there to fix it. Build your own empire of real friends and execute a plan" I say this because I learnt this and it's such a pity how many people miss out the treasures of the process, I'm talking about the treasures of understanding the beauty of your struggles.
The process is a time for learning. A platform to grow, expand and sow. Did I say sow? maybe! because to build an empire, you must sow in people's lives to gain their brilliance. A friend of mine will sometimes say, " Givers never lack because even in their times of scarcity, they still don't lack" and it's reality because I've witnessed it in people's lives even mine.
So like Eyez will always say, " what's the point now" The point is owning to the present, embracing your now and utilising the strength of wanting which engulfs passion and vision into an embodiment of will, will to give even when you don't receive; will to love even when pain is all you feel.
So what are you waiting for? Get a will today and make it your vision. Dedicate your energy to something/someone worth dying for, something that tickles joy beneath your spine-something like a dream to become whatever you need to be knowing that if you believe in God then one thing is for sure, " If you don't aim too high then you aimed too low".
This is my entry for
