For all of us who profess faith in Christ and serve in some ministry within the Lord's church, we live special seasons doing what we love, serving people, teaching and modeling established biblical principles, as well as directing and managing matters related to the kingdom.

These activities as well as others tend to bring a lot of physical, mental and emotional wear and tear that many times merits that the minister takes a break from his activities to dedicate time to his own intimacy and relationship with the Lord.

For these reasons, from time to time we need to "isolate" ourselves "disconnect" from our ministerial responsibilities to have time alone with the Lord and with our family.

Although our family and the Lord are a fundamental part of our ministry, serving others often takes us away from a true intimacy with the Lord, that is where retreats become necessary and valuable.

Understanding this need, the next few days we will be taking advantage of the Easter vacations, we will be taking a retreat with the family, with part of the congregation in the field to strengthen our intimacy with the Lord and our relationship between brothers.

Although the planning includes the congregation and this is part of our ministerial work, we try to see it as work, but as time alone with the Lord and the family.

So there is much expectation about these two days away from the hustle and bustle, disconnected from the networks and focused on strengthening our relationship with the Lord, we hope to enjoy a good time in His presence.

Everything is ready to experience a time of seeking God's presence, strengthening our faith and filling us with his spirit, receiving new strength to continue the work of serving in his work, teaching and modeling the life of our Lord Jesus Christ in our daily lives.

Therefore, these experiences strengthen the believer, bring new strength and motivation to those who are spiritually weak.
