There are events and situations that change your life forever, they are unexpected events that come and are difficult to accept in some cases, but in the end we have no choice but to learn to live with them, overcome the painful or disappointing moment they bring and move forward.
One of the most difficult moments we lived through as a family was when our daughter became pregnant, it was something we were not expecting and a very painful news that I had to hear from her own lips.
It is still fresh in my memory when she told me: "Daddy, I'm pregnant" her voice was strange, full of fear and sadness, she is just a young girl and she had to mature in the hardest way.
When she told me the news we were visiting my dad, the place where the father of her child is from, the news shocked me and I honestly didn't know what to do or what to say. When we returned home I had to talk about it with my wife, the news devastated her.
I remember perfectly that we cried all night and we thought about all the advice and plans we had for her and what we would have liked her to achieve, the goals she had set for herself.
After all this talking with her I thought that it was no longer worth reprimanding or punishing her, she was just a scared little girl suffering the consequences of a bad decision that now leaves her as one more single mother, who became part of this hateful statistic.
Today, we get used to live with the fruit of this bad decision, a baby that although he has special conditions is loved by everyone in the house and an exemplary warrior, his allergy and his smile managed to eclipse his mother's voice when she told me "Daddy, I'm pregnant".
Let me know what you think!
