An urgent meeting was being called by the supervisor of a manufacturing section. Upon everyone from the section came into the meeting room, Dylan, the supervisor of this section addressed his team of eight engineers.
"Thank you for coming in such a short notice. I am gathering everyone here today to discuss a new arrangement for the team in view of an urgent leave request clocked in by Caleb."
Earlier this week, Caleb reached out to Dylan asking for a month long of leave due to his dad had a fall and was bedridden, requiring additional care for a month till he gets better and able to handle daily stuff by himself.
The team came together and then worked on the slots that Caleb had vacated on who to cover. And in no time, they manage to sort out a new arrangement that is of the least disruptive to everyone and easiest for Caleb to slot back in upon coming back from his absence.
Caleb thanked everyone for their coverage and support while he is away.
