In his latest property sales that was closed this week, James received a strange commission figure which was way higher as compared to the usual one percent each from both the buyer and the seller. In his bank account, he received a total of three percent instead of the usual two percent.
This got him really puzzled as the commission from the sale of the property is usually credited from his parent company whom will pay the agents upon the successful closure of each property sales. After checking with the finance department, he then realized that there was a regulation change recently that there is an increase in the commission percentage being paid out to agents that was mandatory as per latest regulations to ensure property agents are being paid competitively.
A pleasant surprise for James whom missed out on the news but he was glad that this latest increase was able to help him to better provide for his family.
