Mandy came into the office feeling really good because she knew she had a good proposal for this upcoming project. However, what she didn't know is that someone else did something that will let her blow her top.
When she went into the meeting room to meet her director and started showing her proposal. Her director said that he already heard the same proposal from a colleague, Sandy, whom was tasked to come up with a secondary idea. Sandy and Many were good friends and while having coffee together last week, Sandy asked Mandy if her proposal was going well and if she could some information. Being good friends, Mandy shared openly to Sandy.
But in the director's eyes now, it was shared to him that Mandy copied Sandy's idea. And this made Mandy blew her top with so much anger. What made it worse was that the next day, the director praised Sandy for her work and decided to promote her to section manager.
It is too much for Mandy to swallow, she typed her resignation letter and threw it at the director's face and walked out of the office. Her good friend just betrayed her to get career progression.
