Not every day is like another
Some breathe the brightest sun
Others are born in darkness
Feeling alone when the day is done.
Life rides the ever changing winds
Often blustery and turbulent
Sometimes still and gently introspective
Always present as each hour is spent.
Singularity waits quietly in the shadows
Knowing one day it will replace the mind
Detachment will rear its head as social
Media finally ends the interaction of humankind.
…and then we will all be alone.
