Comfort in Nature: a short story

Tul had travelled all over this part of the coast many times and it was always foggy first thing in the morning, somewhat hazy and misty as he well knew. As he was hiking in to his destination, he could tell that the sun was trying its absolute best to try and break through the fog that beguiles anyone who dares trying to cross this particular threshold in the brisk early hours at sunrise. Tul shivered and pulled the hoodie from the back of his jacket up over his head, and turned the collar on his jacket up to block the breeze from piercing the hoodie on his weathered neck.
Despite the time passing, he thought for some reason it seemed like it was getting chillier, and he shivered a couple of times. He thought that this is all a good sign as the closer he got to his destination, the breezier it got, and the breeze seemed to be bypassing the top of his collar standing straight up. Tul growled a little knowing that it'll break soon, the sun will return in all it's glory; it will brighten and warm up everything in sight.
As he was getting closer to the crest on the hill it was becoming clear that it may not be as warm today as it had been for the last couple of months, he had noticed that it was gradually cooling off overall as fall had just come. Hm, winter will be here before before we know it, he thought. This year had flown by so incredibly quick, it's like he just blinked and it was two-thirds of the year was gone already.
Ah, he thought, we're almost here, just wish it'd pick up a little on the temp or the breeze would die down just a little bit. So as he crested the hill, his gaze just lit up as his eyes beheld that the fog had lifted and he could see the sea clearly now. It was sooo beautiful, it always worked to calm him down and send him back to the sane world of nature and its total beauty that he longed for. Home for the comfort in nature.
