Estimados amigos, en Venezuela le decimos cambur al plátano dulce. Mientras que el término plátano se reserva para el conocido en España como plátano para freír. Aclarado esto, voy con la historia.
Pisar una concha de cambur
Manuel caminaba cabizbajo por la acera, por eso distinguió con facilidad una concha de cambur a punto de ser pisada por su bota. No la eludió, por el contrario la piso con fuerza y la estrujo contra el piso, como si se tratara de la colilla de un cigarro.
Hecho esto, siguió su camino. Se sintió liberado y en lugar de suspirar, resopló con fuerza. "La concha de cambur que le había puesto" Efraín, funcionó de maravilla. Había perdido el primer puesto en la lista para el ascenso. La escapada del fin de semana que iban a hacer juntos con sus respectivas novias y de la que Efraín se había retirado a último momento, le había costado ese bajón.
Jamás se había imaginado que Efraín, su supuesto mejor amigo, le hubiese hecho una trampa como ésa, ni que hubiese aprovechado la ocasión para sonsacar a su mejor cliente, que afortunadamente no había caído en sus redes. Pero el jefe había tomado nota de la diligencia de Efraín contra "la escapada" de fin de semana de Manuel.
Manuel revivió la sensación de alivio al estrujar la concha de cambur y, repentinamente, sus neuronas se reactivaron, presentándole una excelente idea para la siguiente campaña publicitaria, la recuperación del cliente perdido y, por si fuese poco, la defensa de las escapadas o simples descansos de los fines de semana para refrescar la mente y ganar buenas ideas.
Así comenzó la exposición esa tarde: "Ni las conchas de plátano harán tambalear o caer a un hombre fuerte, decidido y bien calzado, porque la fuerza de su pisada y su visión del entorno le permitirán aplastarlas. Por eso, llevo mis botas a cada escapada para revitalizar mi creatividad".
Al finalizar la presentación, sus compañeros lo aplaudieron y la cara feliz del jefe, le dijo que había recuperado su puesto en la lista. Las cosas de la vida, una concha de cambur me golpeó, otra me catapultó"

Stepping on a banana shell

Manuel revived the feeling of relief as he squeezed the banana shell and, suddenly, his neurons reactivated, presenting him with an excellent idea for the next advertising campaign, the recovery of the lost client and, in case If that were not enough, the defense of getaways or simple weekend breaks to refresh the mind and gain good ideas.
This is how the exhibition began that afternoon: "Not even banana shells will make a strong, determined and well-shod man stagger or fall, because the force of his footsteps and his vision of the environment will allow him to crush them. That's why I take my boots to every getaway to reinvigorate my creativity."
