I'm sorry, so sorry, coming through!!!, hey watch it…

Jason said as he rode his bike through the cold on the snowy ground…

My mum would definitely kill me if I don't get home with the gift. I just wanted to brag about it in school, I thought she would be coming home late again today. Thank goodness Sam informed me that she was closing early.

I just hope she isn't home yet, else I would be in hot soup. How wish Sam's dad didn't work in the same office with her, how would I have known. Now I feel so stupid.

I've really out done myself this time, checking the back of his bike to see if the gift was still intact.

In the little moment of distraction, Jason did not notice the rock in front of him on time and when he did, it was already too late.

His bike went crashing down on the rock, while he went face first into the snow but instinctively held on to the gift with his hands up as he went face first into the snow.

Getting up from the ground with his face covered in snow he looked at the gift in his hands, thankfully it was still in good condition.

He looked at his bike which sadly was no longer in a good condition as its wheels were broken from the fall.

Trying so hard to figure his next line of action, he sighted a familiar face coming. Dang, it's my mum.

He immediately stood at the back of the Christmas tree in front of him with his heart beating immersly fast hoping he has not been cut while he held the gift firmly while thinking to himself, she's definitely coming from the house and looking for me. What do I do now…

THIS IS PURELY FICTIONAL AND MY RESPONSE TO the Freewriter a picture is worth a thousand words challenge.

Quite a good cliffhanger of a story -- we hope it works out for the best for this young man!

What a lovely story you make out of it. I just which mum would forgive his naughtiness
