Hello Hive. 😃 I'm back again with another @drabble.club microfiction, that is #zapfic100, inspired by the prompt "enter at your peril" taken from @daily.prompt's post.
If you will like to write microfiction in 100 words, feel free to give this challenge a try.
ENTER AT YOUR PERIL
Joanne paused at the door to the garage and read the words printed on it.
"I mean it!" Her father grumbled from inside. The noise of mechanical tools clanking against each other revealed he was busy. She snickered.
"Well, aunty? Can we go in now?" Aidan and Pete, her nephews whispered from behind her. Joanne chuckled at the mischief on the boys' faces. The sign on the door then made sense.
"Let me go in first, eh?"
She slipped into the garage and her father gave her a scowl. "Coast clear?" He asked.
"Happy Father's Day!"
Thanks for reading!
