Filipinos are not likely to buy online for clothes, gadgets, home appliances, school supplies, etc., Philippines has countless malls all around. If we want to buy things we visited the nearest mall in town. Many Filipinos have trust issues about buying online because of the unfair system policy of sellers or a scam app when you ordered online you don't have an option for replacement or return. If you want to return it will cost you more. What you purchased is permanent, non negotiable. You like it or not you have the item.

I found Amazon.India more favorable and trusted app for buying things online. When I purchased my boyfriend's gifts from Amazon. I made a mistake about his size. He has a problem with fitting it, or he didn't like the item. I just contacted the carriers and stores for return and replacements they took care of it right away. I got refunded for 24hrs. No cost added on my behalf.

The Covid-19 lockdown encouraged more Filipinos to buy online. The government makes sure only one per family can go out for buying food and medicines. Most Filipinos are afraid to go out, so they stayed inside the house for years. Now buying online is the best options they can have.

Filipinos are slowly trusting buying online thru Shoppee, Lazada, Mercury, SM Department, Supermarket, Restaurant, etc. Now, my perception was changed. Advantages of buying online you can save time and money. No hassle. Disadvantages during pandemic I found shopping online is cheap to do because lots of sale items. It is quite addicting. I didn't know I was buying more and more. It was fun experienced browsing and adding to cart. Later on, you will cry how much you spent on things are not necessities. Clothes and bags you can't wear outside, shoes you can't use to go out.

Buying online can kill someone's boredom. I love watching Facebook + Instagram live selling. I got frustrated if I mine the items someone got it first because of your internet connection made you lost the competition. 🤣 It became a bad habit for me. So I did a reflection about things happened. The questions are why I spent my money on things I can't use in this pandemic? How many people lost jobs and no food on the table? How many people got sick?

This is not to bragged about helping others, but to encourage others to do the same thing and serves us a reminder, we can share what we have to others in times of crisis. I tried to help my friends who started the business I supported it buying stuff even I don't need it, helping friends got Covid, I financially supported my elder sis business. My brother in law, no work, no pay so I provided food every month until he got called back from work. I emptied my savings not knowing what's going to happen to me. Little or big amount can't be measure how you care and love your neighbors.

Spread love and positivity.
Do good things to each other!
See you in my next post!
