Temi took pride in the fact that he was intelligent and always calculative. He usually boasted to everyone around him that he was the Einstein of his day, and that he knew more than even his ancestors. Lola thought differently. She thought he was self-deceived; that he was in fact a very sluggish person in everything.
“Temi you are just given to bragging, you're not as intelligent as you think.” Lola blurted. She was fuming and it was obvious on her face; she had had enough of the young man's boasting.
Temi’s face shrunk into a dubious smile then he burst out laughing. “You know I am more intelligent than you and everyone else. You're just being jealous because I am smarter.
Lola smirked and looked at him from head to toes, “I bet you can't even spell your name correctly,” she smirked.
Temi smiled and said, “Believe it or not, I'm the Einstein of our day and there's nothing you can do. Lola sucked her teeth and moved back to the kitchen to continue washing dishes.
